Sponge develops predictive control solutions for solar systems with storage. Their platform combines weather data, real-time electricity rates, and consumption patterns to intelligently optimize battery charging and discharging. The result: savings of up to 30% more for end users.

But this episode is also a human story. Solutions Otonomi and Sponge first crossed paths four years ago at Electricity Transformation Canada, the only two Canadian companies in the startup zone.

Since then, our paths have evolved in parallel, moving in the same direction: making solar energy smarter and more accessible across Canada.
